Grace Village

In 2009 the construction began for the Maranatha House Orphanage and the Grace Village Meal Hall to provide food for orphans and also street children of Titanyen. This center will be able to provide meals for 75 children each day.

Grace Village

With help from you and only by the grace of God, in 2008 we purchased 16 acres of land  in Titanyen to build Grace  Village, to be a city of peace  and a place where God's  loving grace can touch the people of Titanyen.

Can you imagine 30 to 40
children living in two 8x10 rooms?

In Titanyen, Haiti, your donations
is funding the building a new
home for  Maranatha House Orphanage, a Christian
orphanage that  cares for
30-40 children who have lost
 their families to  extreme
poverty, hurricanes and AIDS.

The orphanage in the small village of Titanyen, about 15 miles
north of Port-au-Prince.

These children currently live in
two 8’x10’ rooms, girls in one
room and  boys in the other.

Many of these children will never be adopted, so we are committed to preparing and equipping them with the tools to live life with significance... helping these children not only learn a trade or skill so they can provide for themselves and their family, but teaching them how to serve others as a means of serving God and building a better community.

Your funds provided new mattresses, clothing, dining tables and benches, shoes, emergency medical and food supplies, toys.

Phase One

This first phase of development
in Grace Village will include
a facility for Maranatha
House Orphanage that will
provide bedrooms for 40
children, each with their own
bed, a staff quarters and
guest rooms for visitors.

Additional donations are
still needed to make this
home a complete reality.

Please prayerfully consider a donation to help these children.

Haiti Maranatha House Orphanage
Children of the current Maranatha House were a customed to eating on the floor of their bedroom until
we purchased tables & benches.

Haiti Maranatha House Orphanage
Christian faith and prayer
before meals are an important
part of raising the children
of Maranatha House.

There is a goal is to raise
$200,000 to build a new
building that will sleep 40
children and feed 75.

There are many children in Titanyen, Haiti that go without
food for a day, sometimes more.

With a new orphanage, we
can care for these orphaned children and feed other street children that may not otherwise have a meal certain days.

Your gift helps children several
thousands away and assures
of another person's love.

Helping someone we cannot see
is charity without limitations.

It's a shared vision, to provide
an orphanage and school to
serve the impoverished and abandoned children of Titanyen
a new Maranatha House.
Any construction in Grace  Village provides employment to the
many unemployed.  With limited construction machinery, most  work is hard labor.

Providing support and organization for Maranatha House in order to establish a work flow in Titanyen that will eventually affect the entire community.

There are several phases of the project's development and we will assist managing the site's construction as well as perform the selection and training of the caregivers, teachers and administrators who will eventually oversee the ministry.

Caring for the Elderly

Imagine being old and having
no one to care for you.

Life is very difficult in Haiti
and more so for the elderly.

The average mortality rate of 49-52 years, many do not live to experience the trial of the aged.
For those that do live to be elderly many of the basics of
food, water, sanitation, shelter
or human contact are often missing resulting in an extremely lonely and difficult time for them.

Please prayerfully consider helping an elderly or invalid in need.

The cost of an evening out in
our country will help change the lives of some needy individuals, the  residents of Grace Village.

Consider sharing this information with your extended family
and making it a family project.
It will be hands reaching across the Caribbean to some of God's children in a distant land.

We can spread Christ's message more by action than by words.

Imagine feeding your
child a dirt cookie...

There is a serve food shortage happening in Haiti. Prices have risen 70% since January while supplies have shrunk.

This in a nation where the average income is less than $2 per day.

Many parents are faced with not being able to provide the basics of one meal a day for their children. To keep children from crying from hunger, children are fed cookies made of dirt to fill up and trick their tummies into feeling full... can you even imagine? These children feel full but many are becoming severely malnourished with some even starving to death.

Your donations is providing
meals to schools, orphanages
and families in need.

Please prayerfully consider a donation to help feed the starving children of Haiti.

I'm sure you can imagine missing a meal, you might even be able to imagine not eating for a full day.

But can you imagine being a child and not knowing when you will eat again? It just breaks our hearts when we see this.

Around $30.00 buys enough food to feed 100 children in one day in Haiti.  Haiti is one of the poorest countries on earth where 1 in 8 children die before the age of 5 from curable or treatable disease

Education

Over 50% of the people in Haiti
are unable to read or write.
With over 50% of the people in Haiti unable to read or write, children are Haiti’s greatest hope for a better future. Only about
half of grade school age children attend school.

Street children in Titanyen parents can not afford to send them to school. These are
children who desperately want
to go to school and cry when
they see children walking to
school in their uniforms and feel there is no hope for them to go.

We want to provide an education program for Street Children.  Can you imagine being a child growing up in extreme poverty? Or living in extreme poverty without parents?

In Titanyen there are may
street children who have never gone to school... and without an education they will likely stay in extreme poverty their entire life.

You can make a difference...

Please help provide hope to these poorest of poor children.

Thank You for your support!

Please know that your donations are handled with great care!
